What if I lose my independence? What if they don’t have activities I enjoy? These may be questions your loved one is asking before moving into a care facility such as Jefferson Park. We know it’s difficult to make the choice of where to move your elder and the worry of their quality of life after moving is always a burden. At Jefferson Park, we strive to meet our residents where they are in their time of need. Residents aren’t just another resident or number, they are our family and friends whom we highly respect.
Our staff would like to introduce you to a news and event series we’re calling “I’m Still Me.” The idea of “I’m Still Me” is to spotlight a resident who had a full life outside of our community and having since moved into Jefferson Park they are proving that it’s not the end of the road, but a turn in a new direction! The stories we’ll share are from residents who come from a variety of backgrounds, and each have their favorite parts of our community that allow them to truly feel and say “I’m still me.”
We look forward to sharing our residents’ stories with you! Be on the watch for our first installment in the next few weeks.
