The Green House Homes at Jefferson Park at Dandridge are unique among skilled nursing care. On-site, we offer three cottages, with duly certified beds. Each cottage has 10 private rooms, private baths, den and dining areas. Spa rooms provide beautician and therapy services as well as a luxury bathing area. We are not typical assisted living facilities but instead provide personalized skilled nursing care. The Green House homes were established in 2006 and are the first of the kind in Tennessee to provide this environment, while dramatically improving the quality of daily life for elders.

Self-Managed Work Teams
Staff teams work collaboratively at the Green House Homes to give personalized care to elders while fostering their continual progress. The Shahbaz is the closest companion to the resident and is present to establish positive life through nurturing, sustaining, and protecting the elder. All aspects of an elder’s life are sustained by the Shahbaz such as: food, personal care, safety, rehabilitation, medical attention, and recreation. The residents work alongside caregivers to develop a routine that suits their individual development.
Quality Skilled Care
As elders often have complex medical needs, nurses at the homes provide value-based care that align with each elder’s goals and objectives for their own health. Through clinical assessment, treatment and evaluation, nurses provide constant dialog to all involved. A Guide serves as a coach to direct, supervise, and support the quality of life of each elder. The term “Guide” is used to designate the style of leadership that is present within the homes. Guides oversee compliance, competence, and operational issues while monitoring and assisting Shahbazim and other team members. The Director of Nursing (DON) monitors regulatory compliance and supervises nurses while assuring the highest standards of clinical attention are upheld. Another team member is the Sage, a volunteer from the community who provides wisdom and serves as an adviser, facilitator, counselor, and role model to the others in the administrative group.
