Join us in congratulating our new CEO, Amanda Haynes!
Amanda’s Career
Amanda began her career journey at Jefferson Park as a Certified Nursing Assistant when she was just 17 years old. What started as a first job for young Amanda grew into a lifelong passion for long-term care and an impressive and meaningful career.
Amanda worked in the medical records department during her college years and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration in 2005. Following graduation Amanda served as the Social Services Director at Jefferson Park for 10 years. During this time Amanda grew to understand the importance of compassion, relationships, and advocating for our residents and their families.
In 2016 Amanda was promoted to Assistant Administrator. She obtained her administrator’s license in 2019 which opened the door to leadership and growth opportunities, and in 2023 Amanda became the Administrator of Jefferson Park’s White Pine facility. Finally in 2026, Amanda was named the new CEO of Jefferson Park.
Promotion to CEO
When the time came to select a new CEO in 2026, Amanda was a standout choice! This promotion is the culmination of 26 years of dedicated service and true excellence in the long-term care world.
In Amanda’s words, her job as CEO is to “lead and support our team, ensure our residents receive the highest quality of care, and create an environment where every resident feels safe, loved, respected, and at home”.
Jefferson Park is so much more than just a place to work for Amanda, it’s a family.
“The people here have played such an important role in my personal and professional growth, and I am thankful to Roger and the board for believing in me and allowing me to continue growing in a place I consider family.”
She is excited to step into this leadership role and continue to promote what makes Jefferson Park special.
“What truly sets Jefferson Park apart from other facilities is our staff. The love, compassion, and dedication our staff show each day goes far beyond providing care. They build relationships, create meaningful moments, and make our residents feel valued, respected, and loved.”
A Favorite Memory
One of Amanda’s favorite memories during her time at Jefferson Park is also a great example of the staff going above and beyond for our residents. With the help of the community, Jefferson Park put together a fishing set up in the parking lot so that many of our residents could enjoy an activity they loved and missed but were no longer able to do regularly. Amanda remembers, “the smiles were endless and they were so thankful”.
